About Us

Through this hybrid meeting of art forms, Bean has created a series of works exploring poetry through different mediums: 

stained glass, handmade inks, fabric, a typewriter, plaster casting, paint, found poetry collage, cyanotype, printing, and film.

 

Artistically responding to a poem invites another level of understanding for the observer. It allows a deeper connection to the words, not just on the page, but also physically and visually. It offers a space for questioning and tactile sensory discovery through touch, sound, and smell. ​​
